What we collect

• Account data: email address, display name, password hash.
• Billing data: handled by Stripe; we store your Stripe customer id, subscription status and the last four digits of your card.
• Device data from Connect: a device name you can rename, Blender and extension versions, operating system, and the IP address of sign-in and download requests.
• Download logs: which pack versions your account downloaded and when. Used for abuse prevention and support.

What we do not collect

The Open Painter extension sends nothing anywhere. Connect only talks to openpainter.dev when you sign in, refresh, or install a pack. There is no telemetry, no analytics SDK in Blender, and no tracking of your projects.

Cookies

The website uses a session cookie and a CSRF cookie, both required for signing in. No third-party advertising cookies.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account exists. Download logs are kept for 90 days. Deleting your account removes personal data within 30 days, except invoices we must retain for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can export or delete your data, and revoke devices, from your account page or by emailing privacy@openpainter.dev.
