About this collection

15 native PBR smart materials, numbered 101–115, exclusively for Materials+ subscribers.

Clean Black Rubber, Tire Rubber, Racing Tire Rubber, Rubberized Grip, Silicone Rubber, Translucent Silicone, Neoprene, Latex Rubber, EVA Foam, Memory Foam, Packaging Foam, Acoustic Foam, Polyurethane Foam, Vinyl Upholstery and Artificial Leather.

Each material includes eight 2K PBR maps: full-color Base Color, Roughness, Metallic, Normal, Height, AO, Emission and Opacity, plus three coordinated abrasion maps. Nine native layers and eight editable controls manage pigment, roughness, relief, pattern scale, edge polish, recess grime, abrasion and the relevant optical property or dust. All materials are dielectric and non-emissive. Translucent silicone and latex use native transmission, IOR and subsurface properties; opacity remains one.

Bake Normal, AO, Curvature and World Normal before applying. Geometry-aware abrasion, edge polish, cavity grime and orientation-aware dust use the same editable smart-material system as included materials. Destination normal bindings follow rebakes.

Requires Open Painter 0.12.4+ and Connect 0.2.1+. Install separately from the subscriber library; this pack is not bundled with the free addon. Use closed geometry with real thickness for translucent materials.

Individually generated imagegen RGB sources are resampled from 1254 pixels and authored into coordinated 2K PBR maps. Tire tread uses approximately 4.5 mm groove relief; acoustic foam uses 6 mm smooth ribs at 30 mm pitch. Native previews use normal relief; silhouette changes require displacement or modeled geometry. Neoprene represents a nylon jersey-faced surface, and packaging foam represents closed-cell EPE. These are authored appearance materials, not measured scans or elastic/acoustic simulations. Native optical properties persist in smart-material files; configure them separately when exporting textures only. See the included README for physical scale and height encoding.
