About this collection

25 native PBR stone, masonry and architectural smart materials, numbered 141–165, exclusively for Materials+ subscribers.

Limestone, Sandstone, Slate, Travertine, Basalt, Obsidian, Quartz, Onyx Stone, Terrazzo, Red Brick, Old Brick, White Brick, Firebrick, Cinder Block, Asphalt, Cracked Asphalt, Wet Asphalt, Cement Screed, Stucco, Plaster, Cracked Plaster, Drywall, Ceramic Tile, Porcelain Tile, Mosaic Tile.

Each material contains eight 2K half-float PBR maps: full-color Base Color, Roughness, Metallic, Normal, Height, AO, Emission and Opacity, plus three registered abrasion maps. Eight controls edit pigment, roughness, relief, pattern scale, edge polish, recess grime, abrasion, and dust or a material-specific optical/wetness response.

Bake Normal, AO, Curvature and World Normal on the recipient mesh. Native generators and composed-normal anchors place abrasion, edge polish, cavity grime and orientation-aware dust using the same editable smart-material system as the included materials. Wet Asphalt adds world-normal and AO-driven surface wetness. Quartz exposes native Transmission; Onyx Stone exposes Subsurface. All materials are dielectric and non-emissive. Transmission uses physical shader settings, not alpha holes.

Brick/block courses and tile grout share precisely registered color, roughness, height, normal and AO. Brick modules are 240×80 mm, Firebrick 230×115 mm, Cinder Block 400×200 mm, Ceramic Tile 150 mm square, Porcelain Tile 300 mm square and Mosaic 25 mm square, including joints. Use the included README to set physical UV scale and height conversion.

Requires Open Painter 0.12.4+ and Connect 0.2.1+. Download separately from the subscriber library; these assets are not bundled with the free addon.

The original imagegen RGB sources are 1254 pixels and are resampled into authored 2K PBR maps. These are realistic artist-authored surface approximations, not measured scans. Quartz is milky stone, Onyx is honey calcite architectural stone, and Mosaic uses glazed ceramic tesserae. Wetness approximates a damp film, not liquid volume or fluid simulation. Native optical properties apply to the texture set; use separate sets when needed. Relief does not alter silhouettes or create block core openings; use modeled geometry or displacement for deep shapes. Texture-only exports require optical shader settings to be configured in the destination renderer.
